The Nine Mile commercial herd has decreased in years from 200 to approx half that size. The herd has been using AI sires since the 1980s in a majority of the females, proving what the most popular Angus, Simmental and Stabilizer sires can do in the commercial industry. This group of animals are a no fuss group that head out on a large BC range area from June to Oct every year. Nine Mile steer calves top the sales in BC almost consistently every year.
